"TIFFCOM2008～Asia-Pacific Entertainment Market" will be held for three days from Wednesday, October 22 till Friday, the 24th, 2008 at Roppongi Academy Hills, Tokyo.

TIFFCOM is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year since it started as a contents market along with the Tokyo International Film Festival. From this year, we will endeavor to strengthen the connection between the film festival and the market and hope that this will result in improving both and that we can offer you "Fall" + "Tokyo" = "Interesting". ("an interesting experience in Tokyo in fall") 3,505 attendees from 40 countries and regions in the world were registered last year, and the number of registrants from overseas was 957, which was remarkable. Moreover, there was a total of 172 exhibitor groups, which was a great increase compared to the previous year. These figures conclude that this festival is attracting more and more attention, both locally and abroad.

In conjunction with this event, we are planning to have a multi-contents market TIFFCOM, a co-production project "TPG-Tokyo Project Gathering", seminars, and symposiums for this year as well. Especially TIFFCOM will expand broadcasting contents area this year.
