Make your project shine in Tokyo!

CoPro Connection is an occasion for live action and animation filmmakers both in Japan and overseas to come together in their goal of working on an international co-production project. This year will see an increased emphasis on networking. In collaboration with the Ateliers du cinema europeen (ACE) , an association of European producers, and the Korean Film Council (KOFIC), we will host assorted events such as pitching, seminars relating to international co-productions, networking events, as well as individual meetings.

ACE Co-Production Lab
The ACE Co-production Lab is a workshop that will be held in collaboration with ACE for the purpose of promoting international co-productions with Europe. This is a special event to be held during the same period as CoPro Connection. Producers from Japan will meet with producers from ACE and take part in pitching projects, attending seminars on financing and distribution, learning about case studies, and attending individual meetings with advisors from Europe. We hope to provide participants with all the information necessary in order to realize a co-production with Europe.
