We would like to thank all of you who have applied exhibition since
we began the registration process.
At this point, over 90% of available exhibitor booths have been
reserved.

 

Although exhibitor registration is scheduled to continue until
July 31 (Wed), if we reach capacity before this deadline, we will
have to end registration earlier .

Those who apply after the end of registration may have to wait for
a cancellation to obtain a booth.

We urge any potential exhibitors to register as soon as possible.

〜 Comment from TIFFCOM Project Market 2012 participants vol.2 〜

 

From Ms. Hisami Kuroiwa, a Japanese producer based in the U.S.

"I participated the project market to look for the co-production
partner of documentary project “Lafkadio Hearn: his journey
to Ithaca”
It was good opportunity to get useful information. Through panel
discussion, one-on-one meetings and networking event with other
participants, I shared thoughts and situation of co-production
in Japan and other countries. The talks may not lead to immediate
deals, but I was able to move my project forward, leading to the
next step."

 

Ms.Hisami Kuroiwa (Media Space), Producer, Japan
Hisami has produced NY independent films of Wayne Wang, Paul Auster
and Hal Hartley. She has done co-productions more recently.
A project she brought to Tokyo in 2007 (TPG) participated project:
“Araf - Somewhere in Between”, won the best actress award
in TIFF 2012.
