Twenty international co-production projects have been selected for TIFFCOM2013 CoPro Connection (Oct. 22-24).

The producers will gather in Odaiba, Tokyo to meet potential partners and move their projects forward.

Five Japanese and six European projects will form the intensive four-day program held jointly with ACE (Ateliers du Cinéma Européen) : “ACE Co-production Lab in Japan”

Another close collaboration with KOFIC (Korean Film Council) continues as five South Korean producers with co-production projects with Japan will attend the CoPro Connection.

•  Publishing related cross-media project Ten no Chasuke (working title) from writer/director SABU
•  Japan set new project from the director of “Drive” Nicolas WINDING REFN, The Avenging Silence
•  Shobu by South Korean filmmaker of “Last Present” Ki-hwan OH
•  I Wanna Go with the Wind by Fang SONG, who won first feature prize at the Locarno Film Festival
•  Hanalei Bay based on the short story by Haruki MURAKAMI.
•  The Star Beast an animation project based on the classic novel by Sci-Fi grand master Robert A. HEINLEIN.
