Recent dramatic growth in Asian markets has been attracting content industry's attention globally. In light of this situation, on October 21 and 22, 2014, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) will hold an Asia Content Business Summit (ACBS) in Tokyo for the first time in three years.
On October 21, an open seminar will be held in Daiba, Tokyo, bringing the related public-private sectors in the content industry from Asian regions together. At the seminar, participants will discuss the latest topics, including measures for encouraging the industry and trends in the market. It will be opened to the public, so please attend the seminar if you have interests in content business or considering business in Asia.
On October 22, the ACBS will provide a private dialogue among related people from the governments and related organizations, and participants will discuss specific future approaches concerning the industry based on the results of the open seminar. The results of the dialogue will be publicized via METI's homepage at a later date.
