Summer in Japan: Matsuri and Fire Works
In Japan, we have four seasons
~ Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter~.
There are several events to appreciate and celebrate in each seasons.

During summer time, ‘Matsuri'-Summer Festival-is held in each areas. Each Matsuri is very different and it shows the local atmosphere. All generations get together and enjoy; Fireworks, Food stalls and Japanese traditional folk dance, "Bon-Odori" are always come with Matsuri.

For Matsuri, Japanese people who are often considered as hard-workers finish thier work earlier than usual and go out to enjoy such seasonable events. Moreover, some Matsuri Events are live-broadcasted on a nation-wide in Japan so that many TV viewers who cannot come to the site can enjoy Matsuri as well.

Getting together and sharing one joyful thing at the same time creates many opportunities, we believe. TIFFCOM is also the place that people from all over the world
meet and have talks about their projects. We try our best to offer you such a wonderful opportunity and place.
And we all hope to see you here in exciting Tokyo soon!
