TPG Project History
Outline
  • Tokyo Project Gathering (Abbreviation: TPG) < Co-production Market >
  • TPG aims to promote international co-production of visual content including movies and animated films. It creates opportunities for film makers and film professionals by providing them with an opportunity to present their projects in any stage: from development to just-before finalizing and help them find and raise funds from overseas. TPG also enables domestic and international visual content experts to exchange views and information and hold business discussions.

  • *TPG Networking Reception: October 19, 2009 (Mon)

    Reception shall be organized with an aim to introduce project exhibitors to the visitors (producers, buyers, investors for business purpose only).

    *Individual business meetings: October 20 (Tue) - October 22 (Thu) 10:00-18:00

    TPG shall be organizing one-to-one business meetings at the TPG venue. The meetings will need to be scheduled beforehand in accordance to the requests of visitors (=project buyers) and project exhibitors.
    All projects shall be introduced in TPG project catalogue and at TPG official website.

    *The TIFFCOM Organizer's Office will be responsible for the operation of TPG event

  • Domestic and international project buyers, such as producers, financiers, sales agents and distribution companies, etc.

    (Those who want to participate in TPG 2009 need to register and obtain TIFFCOM 2009 IDs)

Entry Regulations
  • ・Live-action movies, TV programs, movies based on novels and comics, animated films, computer graphics, etc., that have strong potential to be produced as international co-production. Production stages from without-script development to just-before finalizing would be acceptable.

  • ・Preferably projects that have not been introduced in other project markets.

    ・Project exhibitors will participate in the TPG Networking Reception and individual meetings.

    ・A project selected for participation in TPG2009 would agree to put the TPG logo in the credit list, once it will be completed.

    * The exhibitors selected to TPG will be asked to provide necessary information online for our catalogue production.

  • ・To email a synopsis (1-2 pages) and the application form to the TPG Office.
    (A synopsis can be sent in any format. But the use of the Word, Excel or PowerPoint format would be appreciated.)

Identifying the participants by printing the participant's name, company name, nationality, and face photo on the TIFFCOM ID badge
7.
Delivering TIFFCOM related news and updates, as well as introducing services through phone calls, post mails, and emails on a regular and systematic base
8.
Providing better goods and services by conducting market researches, examining and analyzing data collected through survey enquiries and your participation at TIFFCOM
9.
Notifying new events, such as symposiums and seminars
10.
Contacting and verifying the information registered for managementactivities of the event
