Announcement of Mini Stage details !

This year, for the first time, a mini stage will be set up in the Ikebukuro venue.
This stage will be in the open area of the A-2 hall where registration and exhibition booths will be. This will be the place where exhibitors display sales content and company PR contents. 9 slots of both domestic and foreign exhibitors’ presentation will be organize. Please mark your calendar.

At the exhibition booth with diversified participants this year, parties and events planned by each exhibitor will be held.Please join and network with participants through this event.

P&I Screening, Preorder-WEB reservation information

What is P&I Screening?

P&I Screening is screenings of films presented at the 30th Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) for the press and industry professionals. P & I screening will be held at the JCS venue (24th to 26th October in Ikebukuro) and the TIFF venue (25th October to 3rd November in Roppongi).* Booking is not required at the JCS venue in Ikebukuro but preorder-WEB reservation is required at some venues in Roppongi.

The Japan Foundation Asia Center/ UNIJAPAN Seminar
Learn From the Philippines! Promoting film locations -Lessons for Japan-

Date: October 26(Thu) 13:00-14:30 Seminar Room1

Outline:
Ranging from Apocalypse Now of the 1970s to the recent Pacific Rim, a large number of world-famous masterpieces have been shot in the the Philippines. On the other hand, looking back to big budget films relating to Japan, such as Silence and Ghost in the Shell, show that these works were not actually filmed in Japan. We will discuss why the Philippines became a favorite shooting place even for foreign productions, and will talk about its potential of Japan.
